About the role

Allied Universal is currently hiring a part-time Security Officer for a financial company in Grafton, MA. The position operates on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 AM to 3 PM. The starting pay is $23.50 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years old for armed roles; at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Must have 1+ years of previous security experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Licenses and certifications may be required based on state and local laws.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
