Security Officer Exterior Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Exterior Patrol in City Of Industry, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. This role provides professional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, loading docks, parking areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Report hazards, damaged property, unusual activity, and other security-related concerns observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Note: This site has limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

$21.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
