What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, office spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, as permitted by site policy.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vendor entry procedures to help support site protocols and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe the location for unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or potential hazards, and communicate findings with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
  • Possess a guard card or license (preferred).
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
