Security Officer Experienced Patrol Monitor

About the role

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Monitor in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and support compliance with location rules, policies, and posted instructions.
• Communicate with local contacts, supervisors, and/or public-facing personnel regarding incidents, disturbances, and other security-related matters while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
