Job Schedule

DayTime Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, assisting with visitor direction, rule enforcement, and other security-related support duties as needed.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or first responders regarding incidents, suspicious activity, and changing conditions while following post instructions and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
