Job Description
As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Duty in Trenton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, escort requests, and other security-related support needs while maintaining professional communication.
- Support site operations by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols and interacting with employees, patients, and visitors with professionalism and respect.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
