As an unarmed Healthcare Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a medical setting, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
