Security Officer - Experienced Guard

About the role

Join Allied Universal in a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor processing in accordance with site protocols for a high-profile operations environment.
• Document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents with clear written reports, and communicate important updates during shift turnover and with site personnel as needed.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Access control/badge experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
