As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Your visible presence and clear communication will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and help control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, building areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and access control activities accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$20.73 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
