Security Officer - Evenings
Position Purpose
The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. As a Security Officer, you will know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Recognizes special needs/concerns of populations served and adjusts communication accordingly, i.e., language barrier, diminished hearing, concrete terms, etc.
Patrol Tours
- Makes rounds around the facility to ensure safety and security.
- Monitors Closed Circuit TV (CCTV).
- Responds to all Emergency Code alerts.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's license in good standing.
- Possesses the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Possesses the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, patients and visitors.
- Ability to manage aggressive or violent behavior through non-abusive physical intervention.
- 1-year Prior hospital experience preferred.

Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am including weekends.
