About the role

As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services office by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or access concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming, controlled environment for authorized individuals.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.50 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
