Job Description
As a Security Officer Entry Verification in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, helping manage entry points, monitor visitor activity, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, entry points, and perimeter, as location conditions vary by site.
- Assist with crowd management, monitor high-traffic areas, and help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
