What You'll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering designated areas, following post orders and established access procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and/or credential checks to help support authorized access and help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to conditions that may require security-related reporting or follow-up.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
