What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control duties, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate logs of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Communicate with employees, visitors, and/or vendors regarding access procedures, site rules, and security-related protocols at the location.
Minimum Requirements
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A primarily driving post is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
