Security Officer Entry Management

As a Security Officer Entry Management in Umatilla, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. This part‑time position offers flexibility through the “Claim a Shift” platform, allowing you to build a schedule that works for you while supporting security‑related operations with teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access‑related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Assist with the protection of food and beverage operations by monitoring restricted areas, supporting vehicle and delivery access procedures, and reporting unusual activity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$15.75 per hour

Daytime shifts: Monday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Tuesday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
