Security Officer Entry Level Part Time Overnight Weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver entries, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe incoming and outgoing truck, trailer, and personnel activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Possess a Guard Card or license (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
