About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unusual conditions according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding daily activities and security-related incidents.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.95 / Hour

• Day shift: Saturday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Day shift: Sunday, 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
