Security Officer Entry Level Multiple Shifts

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in Hopewell, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and follow post orders related to restricted areas, deliveries, and contractor movement.
• Support incident reporting and daily activity documentation, noting maintenance issues, policy concerns, and/or emergency situations for follow-up by site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
