Security Officer Entry Level Full Time Overnights

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare‑related facility by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical‑related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, per state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
