Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screens incoming and outgoing personnel, packages, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols to help support authorized access and property control.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required logs and communication channels.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access within a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with duties and working conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
