$21.72 / Hour
Job Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipment-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, yards, and other restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarm conditions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, observing trailer areas, parking areas, and operational zones for unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Document visitor activity, contractor access, vehicle movements, and security-related incidents in required logs and reports while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
