Security Officer Enhanced Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify potential concerns and report security-related or operational issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at assigned access points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and pass-down communications regarding patrol findings, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters observed during the shift.

Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour
