Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy commercial location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
- Monitor access points and public-facing areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence.
- Aid with visitor directions, general information, and incident response support, helping to promote an orderly environment across the property.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations.
- Hold a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
