Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Processing

About the Role

Allied Universal® offers a flexible, part-time Security Officer – Enhanced position designed for individuals seeking supplemental income, hands-on experience, or a pathway to a full-time career. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site in Missouri City, TX, with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift, requiring a six (6) month commitment. Through our Claim-A-Shift program, you may pick up extra shifts to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing you to scale your hours up to 40 per week or adjust as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, drivers, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns, unusual activity, and incident documentation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Minimum age of 21 (18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$16.33 per hour.

Schedule

• Daytime shift: Monday, 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM.
