Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Operations

About the Role

This part-time enhanced security officer position is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $23.29 / Hour
• Day Time: Monday 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and timely while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
