How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
- Observe and report unusual activity, policy concerns, hazards, and incidents to appropriate store contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
- Aid with access control, visitor and vendor direction, and monitoring of assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
