Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with a valid driver's license required. You will be paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer concerns, disturbances, and potential shoplifting activity.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, entrances, exits, and receiving areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately, and communicate relevant information to store management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Schedule

The job schedule is daytime, Thursday, 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with a six-month commitment required for the fixed-shift assignment.

The Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program allows you to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, increasing earnings and gaining experience across multiple sites.
