This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications: customer service experience, CPR certification, and comfort using a computer or tablet.

$25.00 / Hour

Schedule

Fixed-shift commitment ("Anchor Shifts") with a six (6) month commitment. Additional shifts available through the Claim-A-Shift program for increased earnings and experience.
