Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Unarmed Patrol in Orlando, FL, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and varied experience.

This role requires a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift, with the option to claim extra shifts through our scheduling platform. It’s ideal for those seeking part-time work with income stability and the opportunity to scale up to 40 hours per week when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and congregants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including classrooms, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and event inquiries, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, maintaining a professional presence during services, programs, and events.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Possession of a guard card or license (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Fixed base shift with flexibility to claim additional shifts.
• Example anchor shift: Sunday, 07:00 AM – 01:00 PM.
• Opportunity to scale up to 40 hours per week or scale back as needed.
