DayTime Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site protocols.
Carry out regular and random patrols throughout loading, shipping, receiving, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Maintain entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or delivery access as directed by site procedures, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
Support daily operations by observing trailer yards, parking areas, and high-traffic zones, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
