The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position is a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part‑Time Unarmed Driver in Milwaukee, WI, you will have a reliable, consistent base shift at an assigned site with the ability to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.
How this role works
- Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule; six‑month commitment required.
- Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, transit personnel, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting emergency services and transit personnel as directed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with passengers, staff, law enforcement, and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.

Pay
$19.45 per hour.
Schedule
Daytime shift with additional Saturday night shift: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.
