As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed CPR Patrol in Florence, NJ, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you.

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift as your reliable base schedule. Through our Claim-A-Shift program, you may pick up extra shifts to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as assigned, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.74 / hour

• Daytime shift: Friday, 09:15 AM - 07:15 PM
