Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant security-related details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor information, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests as needed.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
