Pay Rate

$30.60 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and report trespassing, property concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Support access control, after-hours checks, and incident response efforts while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
