Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including operational areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations, with awareness of varying environmental and industrial conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site activity, and reporting unusual behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Support security-related operations at a chemical processing location by following post orders, communicating clearly with supervisors and site contacts, and assisting with incident response and evacuation procedures when directed.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
