Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and/or visitor check-in activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, screen deliveries and shipments as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, docks, gates, and other designated parts of the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Document daily activity, access-related events, and unusual conditions in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems according to site-specific policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, trailer yards, and loading zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Schedule
Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
