You will be assigned to a specific site with a reliable base schedule, while also having the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through the Claim‑A‑Shift program to increase earnings. The position requires a six‑month commitment to your anchor shift, but you can scale your hours from part‑time to up to 40 hours per week and back again as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully complete a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements mandated by state and/or local laws and regulations prior to employment.
• Hold a valid driver’s license only if the position requires driving.

Pay

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat 05:30 AM – 02:30 PM.

Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule, requiring a six‑month commitment.

Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

This role offers part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next, with the opportunity to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, while always retaining the option to scale back when needed.
