Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Support

As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Screening Support in West Palm Beach, FL, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

This role requires a six-month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift (anchor shifts). Through our Claim-A-Shift program, you may pick up extra shifts to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites, allowing you to scale your hours from part-time to full-time (up to 40 hours per week) based on your availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas using established procedures and screening equipment; report prohibited or suspicious items and/or activity to appropriate personnel.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate law enforcement personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate screening, visitor, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.85 per hour.

Schedule

• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
