Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Screen and assist individuals entering the location by following entry procedures, checking required credentials and/or visitor information, and directing them to the appropriate area.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to Allied Universal and location protocols.
• Monitor assigned entrances, lobbies, and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support orderly foot traffic, and document security-related concerns as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
