Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rover

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support authorized entry, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Complete routine reports and activity logs, document incidents accurately, and relay important information during shift changes to help support ongoing site awareness.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
