As a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Quakertown, PA, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and varied experience. This role is ideal for those seeking part-time work with income stability and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.

Pay

$17.46 / hour

Schedule

• Fixed anchor shift with a 6-month commitment
• Daytime: Friday, 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Option to claim additional shifts through the Claim-A-Shift program for increased hours and earnings

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a logistics and distribution location by greeting visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel professionally.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification, following site-specific visitor-management procedures, and maintaining accurate entry and departure records.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, provide site information, and coordinate with appropriate personnel regarding visitor arrivals, deliveries, and access requests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation related to front-desk operations, access activity, and security-related incidents.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy).
• CPR certification (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
