Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying visitor processing practices, and reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining post records, and providing clear directions and assistance to employees, visitors, and/or vendors.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
