Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus location policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe campus activities, and communicate with site contacts and/or local first responders as needed regarding suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, or policy violations.
- Support daily operations at the location by providing directions, assisting with visitor inquiries, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day, Time, Sat (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM)
