Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while assisting with access control, visitor direction, and reporting of maintenance, life support, and/or environmental issues observed during patrols.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Fixed-Shift Commitment: A six (6) month commitment to a designated site and weekly shift.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: Additional shifts can be picked up through the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
