Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, directing visitors and/or contractors while supporting visitor management practices.
  • Assist with security-related support during medical emergencies, facility alerts, and/or evacuation situations by communicating clearly with staff and first responders.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification (preferred).
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds (preferred).
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
  • A guard card and/or license (preferred).
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

About the Role

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Qualifications

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

Skills

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

This role is available on a DayTime schedule on Friday from 09:45 PM to 06:00 AM.
