Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Documentation

About the Role

This position is a part-time, enhanced security officer role based in Corpus Christi, TX. It offers a fixed anchor shift at a designated site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through a claim-a-shift program, allowing you to increase earnings and work up to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week as desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay

$14.00 / hour

Schedule

Daytime, Sunday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM. This is a fixed-shift commitment requiring a six (6) month commitment to your designated site and weekly shift.
