Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coverage

In this part‑time, flexible Security Officer – Enhanced position you will provide reliable, consistent security coverage at an assigned site in Parkesburg, PA, with the option to pick up additional shifts for extra earnings.

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shift on Sundays, 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Fixed‑shift “anchor” assignment with a six‑month commitment. Additional shifts can be claimed through the Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift program, allowing you to work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazardous conditions, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and traffic flow while maintaining professional communication and supporting a positive shopping environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
