How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and support loss prevention and store policy compliance through visible presence and routine reporting.
- Assist with closing and opening activities, check exterior doors and gates, and communicate security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
