Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to property management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or access issues.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations within the property to help to deter trespassing, loitering, and/or disturbances while supporting a professional atmosphere.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift communications regarding security-related events, visitor activity, and/or unusual conditions observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
