This position is a part-time enhanced mobile patrol driver role in Maple Grove, MN, designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts. The role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, always with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works

  • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.60 / Hour
Schedule: Tuesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, production or studio spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, unsecured access points, and facility concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as directed by established procedures.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
